Mrs. Shauna Marty

Hello there! My name is Shauna Marty, and I teach grade three at Dr. Hamman School. I live in Lethbridge with my husband, Darren, and two daughters. Aidan and Drue. My daughter Aidan was diagnosed with kidney disease a few years back and in 2013 I donated one of my kidneys to her. Since September 2014, my family has participated in the 100kms Kidney March and will continue to do so to raise awareness about kidney disease and donation.
I have been teaching for 20 years and I love it! Grade 3 is such a great year full of great learning and change socially, physically and mentally for the kids. I have a wonderful teaching partner, Christy Garner, and we do so many cool curriculum-based projects and activities together like Cupcake Wars. Teaching is a blast and I absolutely thrive on seeing kids' love of learning and their successes!! Cheers to grade three!!
